When I stopped by the hardware store this week, I noticed a rack filled with packets of seeds that were leftovers from last growing season.  There on the rack I found a packet of Moonflower seeds.  Impulsively, I spent the quarter and brought them home.  As I finally took them from the windowsill where they landed and moved them to another sunnier spot, I began to think about finding some peat pots and preparing to plant the seeds that will jump-start my garden this Spring.  Then I thought about how so many things we do are acts of faith.  We just assume — believe — when we put a seed in soil that it will become a plant.  One day soon, I will take that leap of faith, picturing in my mind a beautiful summer of moonflowers.
